Edward A. Heflin is a veteran of the United States Military and one of the principles of Centurion Security Group. Mr. Heflin began his public service to the United State of America in 1977. His profession within the United States Navy was with security, law enforcement, investigations, and prison facility management & prisoner transport. Mr. Heflin worked his way through the ranks to achieve a high level senior ranking. Edward also served as division leader and department head for the Weapons Department.
Mr. Heflin’s 23 year career with the United States Navy was exemplary. He received numerous awards, commendations and ribbons of achievement for outstanding individual and team achievements and performance in a variety of areas; most notably the Presidential Citation Award and Combat Service Awards. Edward established himself as 24/7 go to person within the military and private sector.
During his career, Mr. Heflin, established, wrote and implemented several security plans and protocols for the military and international private sector. He formulated policies and procedures for emergency response, hurricane preparedness, event security and protecting high value government and private sector assets and other public facilities.
In the private sector, Edward Heflin served as CEO and Chairman of 5 international private security agencies and coordinator 60 plus, Japanese/ American joint security projects in multiple cities.
Mr. Heflin’s strength is in developing businesses and talent to accomplish the goals and missions of clients. He is a results-driven executive/general manager with domestic and international experience. Edward has highly developed skills in operations, finance, strategic planning, business and organizational development. He is a fantastic communicator who builds and maintains sound relationships and has a great track record of optimizing staff performance and efficiencies.
As a principle with Centurion Security Group, he heads the security program and is a deeply involved in the executive decisions that govern Centurion.
